500 Words Magazine relaunched on 1 October 2018, publishing daily articles, covering a variety of topics such as culture and tradition, music, arts, beauty and fashion, travel, architecture, healthcare, politics, business and economy, and more.
500 Words Magazine has published over 150 articles since its soft launch in October 2018, thanks to the contribution of over 30 writers.
2019 was especially a newsworthy year for Sudan with the Sudanese revolution, which originally began in December 2018. However, in 2019, Sudan saw the fall of former Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir, bringing a new military-civilian Sovereign Council to power for a three-year period until democratic elections take place in 2022.
