Tasabih Diab is Miss Sudan 2023 in Miss Global Beauty Pageant

Popular Sudanese digital creator Tasabih Diab has been named Miss Sudan 2023 in the Miss Global beauty pageant.

‘I am more than glad to have this chance to represent my country Sudan at Miss Global 2023 and reflect our culture and traditions and spot the light on my beloved people,’ she announced on her social media on 16 November 2023.

She is the first Sudanese to compete in the Miss Global beauty pageant. In fact, she is one of the few Sudanese who’ve competed in beauty pageants. In 2019, model, actress and entrepreneur Olla Sidi competed as Miss Nation Sudan in the Miss Nation 2019 beauty pageant.

Many social media users have taken to social media to celebrate as well as criticise Tasabih’s accomplishment.

Based in the Dubai, UAE, 28-year-old Tasabih is one of the most followed Sudanese digital creators on social media with more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and more than 500,000 followers on TikTok. In addition to creating beauty, fashion and lifestyle online content, she is the founder of Bronze Beauty Cosmetics.

Tasabih started her career in real estate, working in some of Dubai’s most established real estate companies such as DAMAC Properties and Albany Real Estate. Her journey on Miss Global is sponsored by Al Arez Real Estate.

Tasabih holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, banking and finance from the Sudan Academy for Banking and Financial Science.

Miss Global is an international beauty pageant established in 2013, and one of the international pageants. It is the only pageant with the widest age range from 18 to 35 years old with the exception of Miss Universe.

More than 30 contestants have been named so far, competing for the Miss Global 2023 crown. More contestants and details are about Miss Global 2023 are yet to be revealed. In 2022, Shaney Tormes from the Philippines was crowned Miss Global.
