Sudanese passport holders struggle to travel around the world, with most countries imposing strict visa restrictions.
The Henley Passport Index 2024, which ranks countries based on the number of destinations its citizens can visit without visa, ranked Sudan at 95 as it enjoys visa-free entry to only 45 destinations. Sudan ranks after South Sudan (94). In the Henley Passport Index 2023, Sudan was ranked at 92 with visa-free entry to 44 destinations.
